social media/press and public relations

To expand our team, we are looking for a person to work on a mini-job basis (530€/month, 5-8h/week) from June 2024 to support us in the area of public relations:  

• independent creation of social media content plans in consultation with the team (Instagram)   
  
• proactively writing and publishing posts (Instagram)
  
• editing image material for social media (video editing, image editing)   
  
• communication with the social media community
  
• creation of newsletters and text contributions for our website   
  
• press and public relations work, e.g. writing and sending out press releases 
  
  

In addition, it is important to us that everyone in our team can contribute according to their own areas of interest and focus. For example, the following tasks are conceivable in the medium to long term:   

• implementation of campaigns and strategies
  
• improvement of monitoring social media activities
  
• establishing a press network and taking over press communication

• interest in transcultural work in the cultural sector and our topics
• reliable working style, self-organization and initiative
• experience in public relations and social media work 
• knowledge of image editing/video editing 
• knowledge of common programs and digital project management tools
• a good writing style, good communication skills in English and German
