A Day In Palestine

A Palestinian Filmproject

Three Palestinian artists from Ramallah, Gaza, and the Galilee come together in one film—not to show what is happening, but to ask: How do we live in a time when death seems to have no end?

Amid bombings, displacement, hunger, and fear, and through the ordinary details of daily life that continue despite everything, each artist tries to understand what it means to live in a state of permanent waiting: waiting for the war to end, for life to return, or even for an answer to the simplest question:

what day is it?

Three voices, three places, one Palestinian experience, connected by the same questions: What happens to us in the space between catastrophe and hope? How do we continue living when we do not know when this moment will end? And can death, when we are unable to change it, become something else? The film offers no answers. It remains with us in that suspended space, where we do not know whether tomorrow will come—but where, despite everything, we continue to wait for it.
